Equestrian

EQUESTRIAN is a new sport at BMS with its introduction in 2004. Since that time we have competed in inter-school show jumping and dressage competitions with considerable success. No other sport has a BMS team consisting of Years 5 to 13 in the same team! We take part in school’s cross country and hire a local arena with jumps two or three times a year.

Other activities include a visit to a local stud, junior equestrian quizzes, a hack with a picnic and fixtures against other local schools using a local riding school’s horses to do a show jumping and a dressage fixture. This allows riders without their own horses to be included.
