Hockey (Boys)

In the Easter Term students from Years 7-13 can opt to play hockey during their games lessons. This option is ideal for those students who are good ball players, but do not wish to play soccer. Our building of the Astro turf pitch has also increased students interest in the sport.

We run teams in each age group and the students in Years 11-13 have the opportunity to play for the First XI. Hockey although taken seriously by a small dedicated group of staff and students is not considered a major team sport and the quality of our teams does vary from year to year, however we are increasingly producing better players and teams.
