Snowsports

The Club caters for anyone who enjoys having fun in the hills.

We run ski and snowboard courses for complete beginners learning just for fun and also for those getting ready for school or family winter sport holidays. We organise refresher courses for intermediate and advanced tearaways to hone their skills and we run an annual Inter-House competition and continue to participate in national and international ski race events. Our best skiers have participated in English Schools Ski training camps in Austria, Italy and Norway and we are previous Under 14 National Champions. A number of past pupils have joined their university ski team and several have gone on to “Ski the Gap” and have gained ski instructor qualifications later working in places such as Quebec and Vail, Colorado We train at Milton Keynes Xscape or Hemel Hempstead Ski Centre most weeks throughout the year.
